South India's young superstar Prithviraj's recent comment that actors who entered the film industry after him do not take cinema seriously, has hurt new gen actors like Asif Ali, who debuted in films with Ritu (2009), followed by super hits Kadha Thudarunnu, Traffic and Salt 'N' Pepper. Asif Ali said that Prithviraj's words hurt the entire new generation of actors. Asif also said that Prithviraj, who complains that neither Mammootty nor Mohanalal has congratulated him on his achievements, has not even rung Asif up to say a few good words of appreciation.
