Saiju to play dad to Kunchacko and Asif Ali
Saiju Govinda Kurup, who has been proving his calibre in South Indian movies with a variety of roles, will be seen as Kunchacko Boban and Asif Ali's father in debutant director Raghuram Varma's Rajamma@Yahoo. 

 Sharing the excitement, Saiju says, "It was really fascinating to play dad to two young superstars of Mollywood. I am happy and excited. My character's name is Yohannan." 

 While it is an unusual role for him in Rajamma @Yahoo, he will play the role of a cop again in his two upcoming films, Malgudi Days and Action Hero Biju. In the latter he will be seen as Nivin Pauly's superior officer. 
"It's quite interesting that people notice us more when we do roles of a thief or a police than any other. I guess the visibility is more for these as viewers will ask why I have been repeatedly taking up cop roles?" quips Saiju who had also donned the police uniform for Kohinoor this year. Saiju also has two more projects in his kitty- Biju Menon's Salt Mango Tree and Kunchacko Boban'sValleem Thetti Pulleem Thetti.
