Asif Ali's action packed Asuravithu is ready

Asif Ali after the huge success of Salt & Pepper is slowly climbing the ladder of stardom. He needs a solo action hit to establish himself as a saleable star. Asif had given bulk dates to writer and director AK Sajan, known for his action films like Stop Violence and Lanka. Together the team has made Asuravithu an action packed thriller, with Samvrutha Sunil playing heroine. Asuravithu is about a guy (Asaf Ali) studying in a seminary to become a priest, due to circumstances forced to take the gun to destroy evil. In the process he himself becomes the new don! The film has a strong supporting cast of Kalabhavan Mani, Siddique, Jagathy Sreekumar, Harisri Asokan and a dozen new faces. It has music by Alphonse and Rajesh Menon. The action packed Asuravithu produced by Leela Creations has been snapped up by Central Pictures. The film is scheduled to release in September.
